"This ranks as a top 10 meal all time. Everything was perfect, service, timing, portions. Shared the Via Alagona - Roasted eggplant, mackerel fillet, parmesan, lemon, olive oil. Unreal. Next we shared Via Della Giudecca - fresh spaghetti with anchovies, capers, pine nuts, raisins, fennel, toasted breadcrumbs and olive oil. So rich, layered flavours! Roasted swordfish as main. Perfect. Cannot recommend enough. Family run, best meal we have had in all of Sicily."

"Cozy and welcoming atmosphere with amazing food and service, food that feels like home !! We enjoyed the pea soup with meatballs, busiata with shrimp and pistachio cream, mussel soup with Sicilian basil pesto, and the most unforgettable orange tiramisù paired with the best amaro. Truly the best meal experience in Siracusa! Absolutely fabulous and delicious ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"First off, if I could give the family 100 stars I would… This is a very special spot. Very unassuming, definitely unpretentious and thousand percent impressive! It is family operated… It is a little hole in the wall not on the tourist path. I have read a past review that commented that the prices are a bit expensive and I really don’t know what they are referencing to. The wine is fabulous and priced at $22 a bottle. The food is fabulous with appetizers and entrées priced around €10. The desert, orange tiramisu, which was made by Nana was five euros. As far as the review that deducted a star because they (the family) didn’t suggest a dessert or a coffee after the meal… I can only say, I ordered completely off menu. I asked for spaghetti with pesto, prawns and pine nuts… Without hesitation they created it and it was out of this world. I cannot believe someone would deducted because they weren’t willing to ask for what they want. I never order a dessert with a meal because I’m always too full, but I was willing to roll out of there on a stretcher so I ordered a desert because everything they made was extraordinary and I was sure the dessert would be as well. Did I say this is family Run? Made fresh? And extraordinary? It’s truly special… it would be regrettable to go to Ortigia and not eat here."

"We were a party of seven people and everyone was very satisfied! The pasta had a really good consistency, the flavors were fresh and well-composed. The gnocchi had an unbeatable consistency with a good chewiness that didn't feel "heavy". The atmosphere felt authentic and the staff was very nice. It felt a bit like "coming home" to an Italian family and eating real Italian food."

"Wonderful food and excellent service. The gnocchi were incredibly tasty, the caponata was full of flavor, the swordfish was cooked to perfection, and the orange tiramisu was simply divine. The Catarratto wine was absolutely delicious – highly recommend this place, one of the best meals we had in Sicily!"

"We were recommended this place by a local, and it turned out to be the best food experience we had in Sicily! Everything we tasted was made in-house, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. You can really tell that they put a lot of love and tradition into their dishes. From the first bite to the last, the flavors were incredible, authentic Sicilian cuisine at its finest! If you're looking for real, homemade Sicilian food, this is the place. Highly recommended!"
